Halloween card + tag

Hi my readers, how have you been? October is almost ending, and today I'd like to share with you a card and a tag for Halloween.

Supplies:

patterned paper - My Mind's Eye, 7gypsies

chipboard - My Mind's Eye

game piece - Tim Holtz

other - cotton fabric

(tag)

grunge board, stamp, metal plaque, fragment charm, sticker - Tim Holtz

other - tag, baker's twine

Wedding card

Here is a wedding card made for Crafting Ireland. I usually make 12x12 layouts, but I also like card making. Putting small things and elements in a limited space is difficult but so much fun for me.

Supplies:
Cardstock - Core'dinations

Patterned Paper - Pink Paislee, Sassafras Lass

Rub-on - My Mind's Eye

Washi tape - Kamoi

Ticket - Tim Holtz

other - Tissue paper, pom-pom trim, paper doily

How to make this card:
1. Apply a title rub-on.

2. Put washi tape and glue the paper doily to the patterned paper. Cut out the excess of the doily.

3. Tuck the tissue paper to make pleats.

4. Machine stitch the tissue paper along with the pom-pom trim.

5. Glue a ticket and a frame-shaped paper piece.

Crafting IrelandのDTワークとしてつくったカードです。
普段12インチばかり作っていますが、カードをつくるのも結構好きです。特に、限られたスペースの中に小さいものを詰め込んでいくのが難しいながらも楽しいです。


つくりかた：
1.　タイトル用のラブオンをつけます。

2.　マスキングテープを貼り、レースペーパーを貼り付けます。レースペーパーのはみ出した部分は切り落とします。

3.　ティッシュをプリーツ上に折りたたみます。

4.　ティッシュとポンポンをミシンで縫い付けます。

5.　チケットとフレームの形の紙を貼り付けます。

Quick Christmas cards

Here are two quick and easy Christmas cards I made.

Supplies:

patterned paper - BasicGrey, Sassafras Lass, Cosmo Cricket

die-cut - Making Memories

chipboard - Little Yellow Bicycle

other - grosgrain ribbon

It's my favorite season.

There are colorful Christmas lights on the town, and I also love Christmas music.

And I love to see my daughter talking about Santa Claus.

簡単なクリスマスカードをつくりました。

この季節、イルミネーションはきれいだし音楽もクリスマス仕様だし、大好きです。

娘がサンタクロースについて語るのを聞くのも好きです。子供の考えることって結構おもしろいですね。サンタさんにもいろいろドラマがあるようです。

よいクリスマスをおすごしください。

Swoosh! greeting card

Here is my DT work for Crafty Sketches December challenge. This month I created a card instead of a layout:

Thank You card

It's so cold these days here in Tokyo. I really hope spring to come soon, and can't stop using spring colors for my projects!

Here is a thank you card I made.

I usually make 12x12 layouts, so making cards is difficult for me. When I make cards I have so many elements I want to put but cards don't have enough room.

寒い日が続きますね。

早く春になってほしいと思うせいか、春色のものばかり使ってしまいます。

今回はThank youカードをつくりました。

いつも12インチを作っていると、カードはすごく難しく感じます。スペースが狭いから…

小さいからすぐできるだろうと甘く見て、結局普段12インチをつくる時間より長くかかってしまった、というのがいつものパターンです。

threefold card

This is a card for my grandmother in Kyoto.



Though I called her last week, I've not met her for more than 5 years, she has never met my daughter and of course my 3-week-old son. What I can do for her is to send some photos of my children. And to send a card with photos, too!



京都に住む祖母に送るカードをつくりました。先日生まれた息子はもちろんのこと、娘も一度も会わせていないので、せめて写真だけでもと思い…（カードに貼った以外にも写真は送ります）

電話はできるんですが、Eメールという手段が使えない相手なので写真を送るとなるとアナログな方法になります。

nengajo 2011

I made an image for nengajo (postcard for Japanese new year's greeting).
First I embellished a paper bag (I used masking tape, lace paper, butterfly punchies etc.), then scanned, and added photos and some embellishments digitally.



Now I have to print this image, and then write something like "wishing you a happy 2011" or so.

2011 is the year of rabbits, can you find a rabbit on the image?

年賀状のもとをつくりました。
まずベースをつくって、スキャンして、PCで編集して、というところまで終わって、これからはがきを買って印刷してメッセージを書かねばという感じです。
私にとって、年賀状づくりって究極のハイブリッドスクラップブッキングです。PCを使う作業とそうでない作業との繰り返し。

Thank you card

Today I'm blogging about a card I made, but before showing the card I will need to tell you what has happened to me and why I made the card.

Well, on November 7, my baby boy was born.
Now I'm mom of two!

Last week I received some baby gifts (in Japan we usually give baby gifts after the birth of the baby), and that's why I am making thank you cards.
Today I've done with a prototype.

The card is so simple outside,



so I'm showing the inside of the card.

お祝いをくれた方に送るカードをつくりました。
親戚用なので親バカっぷりを発揮し、上の子まで登場させています。
開くと写真がとびだすようになっています。
