handspun art yarn

I spun this yarn last week.
Using cotton and other fiber, mainly scrapbooking supplies.



I used some BasicGrey fiber leftovers from my stash. I never thought it would turn out to be so cute!

Recently it seems they don't release fibers. Why???
BasicGrey fibers were always my favorite...

糸を紡いでみました。
綿と、SB用品などの糸を使っています。

特に、BGのファイバーの残っていたのを使ったら、予想以上にかわいくなってびっくりです。
最近BGはファイバーを出していないような？？好きなんだけどな…

Halloween wall hanger

I made a wall hanger for halloween. I really love this MME's Haunted line paper :)



It is not so large, approximately 3.5x5 inches, so after the halloween season I can use it as an embellishment for my 12x12 layout. Can't wait to see how it will turn out.

pepperfieldの9-10月分キットでウォールハンガーをつくりました。このMy Mind's EyeのHauntedのペーパー、本当に好きです。

サイズはあまり大きくないので、ハロウィンが終わった後は12インチのLOにそのままべったり貼ってエンベリとして使えます。どんな感じになるか、気になります。

Manila - scrapxscrap #27

scrapxscrap #27のLOを作成しました。

お題は次の3つです。
1.カメラ目線じゃない写真を使う（横向き、後姿など）
2.お花を使わない（ペーパーも花柄禁止。エンベリもお花は一切使わない。リボンでお花に見立てたりするのもNG）
3.台紙にアレンジを加える（スプレー、インク、スタンプ等）・・・ゆう☆にゃんさんより

写真は後姿。
これはおととしの冬にフィリピンで撮ったものです。冬ですが冬っぽくない写真なので夏っぽいPPとも合うわけです…。PPは全てpepperfieldの7～8月分のキットから使っています。

台紙のアレンジは、グリマーミストを（スプレーではなく）飛ばしてみたり、スタンプしてみたり、エアパッキンにアクリルを塗ったものをぐりぐりしてみたり。

Here is my take on scrapxscrap #27.

1. Use your photo with its object not looking at thecamera (ex. back shot, profile)
2.Don't use any FLOWERS
3.Add some thing for your base paper. (mists, stamps,inking)

I used the backshot. These photos were taken in Manila, Philippines, in winter 2008. It was so hot in Manila. Though they were taken in December, they look so summer-y.

For the base paper I splattered glimmer mist, then stamped and painted with acrylic paint (using bubble wrap).

handmade earrings

I made a pair of earrings. I made them asymmetric. These days I'm in love with the combination of gold and green.



materials used: hook findings, chain, fire polish beads, lace, shell charm, metal charm

ピアスをつくりました。非対称にしてみました。最近、ゴールドと緑の組み合わせが好きです。

scrapxscrap challenge #26

久々にsxsに参加できました。

お題：
１．ネガティブ部分を活用する（パンチで抜いた後の紙、ダイカットした残りの部分、アルファベット・ステッカーの剥がした後の残りなどなど。

２．同じ被写体のビフォア＆アフターの写真を使う（赤ちゃんの頃＆小学生の頃、若かった頃＆現在、などなど）

３．ダイカットペーパーを使う

私の作品です。

ネガティブは、上の写真の上に貼ったPPと右のちょうちょの部分にパンチの残りを、下の矢印の部分に上の矢印を使った残りをそれぞれ使用しています。

写真は娘です。上は岩手に旅行に行ったときに、羊に触ることができず置物（？）で練習する様子。結局この日は本物の動物には触れず終了でした。
下2枚はその3週間後、上野動物園で。ヤギを目の前にしても触る決心（？）をするのに随分時間を要しましたが、ようやく触ることができました。

ダイカットは左側の切手のあたりにあるフレームです。



Here is my take on scrapxscrap #26.

This time we needed to -
1. Make use of those negatives after you use punches,die cut left overs and alphabet sticker let overs.
2. Before and AFter photos of same object. (new bornbaby and middle school kid, or plain ground and thehouse built on it. do you get it?)
3. Use Die Cut paper

When my daughter went to a farm for the first time in her life, she touched "fake" sheep but she couldn't touch any "real" sheep and other animals.

3 weeks later we went to the zoo. At first she seemed to be scared, but finally she touched a goat!

sleepy - a new layout

I haven't made 12x12 layout for a while, but I had some time to crop today and I made this one.



I made it in 30 minutes, it came together so quickly.

12インチLOを久しぶりにつくりました。ようやく時間ができたもので…
30分で仕上げたのですが、さすがにキットをつかっただけあって（←宣伝）、短時間でもいい感じにまとまりました。

封筒以外はpepperfieldの3～4月分のキットを使っています。
（封筒は5～6月分から持ってきました。）
封筒の中にジャーナルを入れています。

ATC folder

I made an ATC folder using pepperfield's May - June kit.
Just because I am hosting an ATC swap now :)




pepperfieldの5月～6月のキットを使って、ATCホルダーをつくりました。
今、ATC交換会開催中です。
