sweet memories of spring

Here is my take on the color room #60:

I used a kit which I got from my swap partner, mochico.

I love this beautiful kit :)
It's really nice for spring layout. Spring is my favorite season - I love cherry blossoms, and they reminds me of the day my daughter was born (she was born in April and I named her after cherry blossoms).

プリマンカイ祭11弾・mochicoさんのキットでTCR #60のLOをつくりました。

素敵なキットでしたが、普段こういうのをあまり使わないのでかなり悩みました。結局、キットのエレガント路線を突っ走るべくプリマのPPを足して完成させました。

春のLOにぴったりのキットでした。

作るのが私で非常に申し訳ないですが、きれいだしかわいいし、このキット好きです。

でもよく考えたら、春に撮った写真はあっても春らしい写真はあまりなく…

春といえば、桜。そして、娘の誕生日。ということで、娘の生まれたての写真と、その年の桜の写真を使いました。

my first Starbucks

Here is my layout for Crafty Sketches June challenge:

My daughter's first taste of starbucks!
She tried green tea frappecino, and loved it sooo much! I thought she would not drink it so much, and I bought a venti size one to have leftover for me. But I was wrong. If I had not stopped her, she would drink the whole venti size frappecino!

I love Core'dinations paper, especially when I sand it. It's so much fun to see the "core" color.

Crafty Sketchesの6月分です。
娘の初スタバです。抹茶フラペチーノ。

娘に飲ませて、残った分を私がいただこうと思ったので、ベンティサイズを買ったのですが、気に入ってしまったようで、私が止めなければ全て飲んでしまう勢いでした。

コアディネーションズにやすりをかけて使用しています。やすりをかけて中の色が見えるのがたまらなく楽しいです。

embellishment pack #2

エンベリッシュメントのパックをつくりました。第二回。
今回は紙モノを中心に。エンベリッシュメントというよりむしろコラージュ用品詰め合わせの様相です。

隠れていてよく見えませんが、本当にいろいろ…雑多なものが入っております。

チケット、レシート、洋服のタグ、雑誌の切り抜き、切手、お菓子の包み紙……

セルビアから届いたものがいくつかあります。セルビア語って何だか新鮮。

I like the cerated mini envelope. I enclosed a ticket and punched-out butterflies, can you see them?

娘が実家の庭で探検する様子をLOにしました。
ロウ引きの封筒にチケットとパンチアウトを入れてみたのですが、見えますか？私はこれが気に入っています。
前回の記事で書いたフラグメントチャームを使っています。

fragment charms

I have some old paper collection packs. I was wondering if I should throw these paper in the trash or I could use them in any way??


But I found fragments in my stash and then an idea came to me.

First, I cut out the paper pieces.


Next, I squeezed some glossy accents on the fragment,


and placed it on the patterned paper image.


Then I cut off the excess,

glued the cut-out image on top, and covered the surface with glossy accents.

For the one on the right I layered the background images.

コレクションパックに入っている紙を何かに使えないか…と考えていたところ、フラグメントを見つけて、これを使うことにしました。

作り方：
1.まず、使いたいパーツを切り出します。
2.フラグメントの裏側にグロッシーアクセントをつけて、例の紙のPPのところに置きます。
3.はみ出ている部分を切り取ります。
4.カットしてあったパーツをフラグメントの上に糊付けし、全体にグロッシーアクセントを塗ります。

出来上がった画像の右側にあるチャームは、背景を何枚か重ねています。

Pages of My Book chapter / 07とArtist's Garden Place #10にチャレンジしました。

PMBのテーマがLife

AGPのテーマがLife is beautiful

なので2つを兼ねてみました。しかもLOじゃなく、まさかのバナーで！

PMBのインスピレーションボードからは色使いとトランスパレンシーを。

AGPからはタイトルをそのままと、beautifulの赤を。

時期的にいろいろ考えさせられるテーマではありましたが、なにげない日常生活というのが本当は一番美しいのではないかと思う今日この頃です。

Here is my take on Pages of my Book / Artist's Garden Place.

From PMB I got the inspiration of using transparencies. The colors were also inspiring.

From AGP I got the title, and red color for "beautiful". 

Hinamatsuri

Here is my take on Let's get shabby challenge #23.

The challenge is

1. use these colors

2. must use spots of some kind

Hinamatsuri, doll festival in Japan, is celebrated on March 3. It is also called Girls' day. We put dolls on display and wish happiness of girls.

This time I tried paper piecing. It was fun, but when I'm finished with cutting I realized that my fingers are sooo tired!

I used liquid pearls as spots.

ガーリーな色！ということで、ひなまつりの写真を使いました。

PPをはさみでカットしてみたのですが、楽しい！そして…終わった後は指が何か変（笑）

ちょっといつもとテイストが違う作品になりましたが、多分こういうのはもう作らないと思います。合う写真がないので（笑）
