Homemade Mask

I made a mask to use in my #3 cards for Angie's Christmas Advent Flip Calendar swap.

This is the mask. It's very easy to make - just handwrite "3" on a cardstock and then cut.


First, I inked over mask using ink blending tool.


Then stamped script stamp with green ink.


And stamped calendar stamp with red ink.


Then removed the mask.


Using red and green is the easiest way to make something Christmasy, I think.

The problem is that my handmade mask absorbs the ink well and soon get "tired", maybe I'll try plastic sheet instead of cardstock next time.

マスクをつくりました。インフル用じゃないよ、スタンプ用のマスクだよっ、というのは置いといて、カードストックに手書きしたのをその線に沿って切っただけのものです。
まずはマスクの上からインクで汚していきます。そして2種類のスタンプを押しマスクをはがすだけで、何とも手間暇かけた感のある"3"ができあがり。
これは、クリスマスのアドベントカレンダー用です。
赤と緑を使うと簡単にクリスマスっぽくなるのでいいですね。

このマスク、使っているとすぐインクを吸ってしまってよれよれになってしまいます。やっぱりカードストックだとこうなるか、ということで次回がもしあればプラスチック製のシートでやってみたいと思います。コンビニ弁当のふたとか？
