handcurved banner stamp

I hand-curved an eraser to make a stamp for my latest layout.

I traced a banner shape:

Then rubbed the traced shape to an eraser:

Then curved:

And done!

fragment charms

I have some old paper collection packs. I was wondering if I should throw these paper in the trash or I could use them in any way??


But I found fragments in my stash and then an idea came to me.

First, I cut out the paper pieces.


Next, I squeezed some glossy accents on the fragment,


and placed it on the patterned paper image.


Then I cut off the excess,

glued the cut-out image on top, and covered the surface with glossy accents.

For the one on the right I layered the background images.

コレクションパックに入っている紙を何かに使えないか…と考えていたところ、フラグメントを見つけて、これを使うことにしました。

作り方：
1.まず、使いたいパーツを切り出します。
2.フラグメントの裏側にグロッシーアクセントをつけて、例の紙のPPのところに置きます。
3.はみ出ている部分を切り取ります。
4.カットしてあったパーツをフラグメントの上に糊付けし、全体にグロッシーアクセントを塗ります。

出来上がった画像の右側にあるチャームは、背景を何枚か重ねています。

handmade fabric flower

I made this flower.

I rolled and adhered a long strip of fabric, and then put prima pearls and rhinestones.

Super easy - no need to sew. If you have 5 minutes it's enough to make one.

ファブリックフラワーをつくりました。コサージュにもなりそうなサイズです。

細長く切った布をくるくる巻いて接着剤でとめるだけ。真ん中にはPrimaのパールとラインストーンを置きました。

縫わずにつくったので、5分あれば十分でした。

次の作品に使うための花をつくりました。PPと新聞とチュールを使っています。

Homemade Mask

I made a mask to use in my #3 cards for Angie's Christmas Advent Flip Calendar swap.

This is the mask. It's very easy to make - just handwrite "3" on a cardstock and then cut.


First, I inked over mask using ink blending tool.


Then stamped script stamp with green ink.


And stamped calendar stamp with red ink.


Then removed the mask.


Using red and green is the easiest way to make something Christmasy, I think.

The problem is that my handmade mask absorbs the ink well and soon get "tired", maybe I'll try plastic sheet instead of cardstock next time.

マスクをつくりました。インフル用じゃないよ、スタンプ用のマスクだよっ、というのは置いといて、カードストックに手書きしたのをその線に沿って切っただけのものです。
まずはマスクの上からインクで汚していきます。そして2種類のスタンプを押しマスクをはがすだけで、何とも手間暇かけた感のある"3"ができあがり。
これは、クリスマスのアドベントカレンダー用です。
赤と緑を使うと簡単にクリスマスっぽくなるのでいいですね。

このマスク、使っているとすぐインクを吸ってしまってよれよれになってしまいます。やっぱりカードストックだとこうなるか、ということで次回がもしあればプラスチック製のシートでやってみたいと思います。コンビニ弁当のふたとか？
