Crafting Ireland's free online class

Crafting Ireland, an online magazine that I'm involved as a DT member, is going to host a free online class on Ustream: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/crafting-ireland

Crafting Ireland is hosting a free online class on the 21st July at 3pm BST. In the class we will create some mini scrapbook layouts. These layouts are perfect for card makers who want to get into scrapbooking or for scrapbookers who find they are running out of space for bigger layouts! We will also make a desktop flip display stand for the pages so you can show them off where ever you like! 

Supply list for the online class
Mini layout pages:
*4 sheets of cardboard/chipboard at 13cmx13cm
*10 sheets 6×6 paper cut down to 13x13cm – keep the off cuts!
*This will make 4 double sided pages so you will have 8 pages in total, you can of course make more if you wish!
* Polaroid style photo mats: photos are 7.4 x 7.4 cm and the white card to matt them on is 9.6cm x 8.1cm.
*You will need 8 photos and 8 photo mats
*Adhesives, border punches, trim, score board, duct tape and tools as usual
*Binding rings or ribbon (Binding rings do work the best)
*Crop a dile/eyelet setter and eyelets (optional)
*Hole punch
For the stand:
*1 x Sheet of chipboard 30cm long and 15cm high
*2 x pieces of chipboard 15cm high and 6cm wide
*Duct tape
*Paper or paint to cover it
*Optional – embellishments. I use tissue tape.

my best vest ever

Hi there, this is my DT layout for Sketches with a Twist (and the twist for this month is using fabric on your layout):

Supplies:
cardstock - core'dinations
patterned paper - 7gypsies, Prima Marketing, BasicGrey, Pink Paislee, Sassafras Lass, Jillibean Soup
chipboard - Prima Marketing
sticker - Making Memories
other - twine, washi tape

My daughter is in her "best vest ever" - her grandma (my MIL) hand-knitted it.
She likes knitting and crocheting very much and sometimes she makes something for her grandchildren.

For this layout I used almost no embellies. I love using patterned paper and I always forget to think about embellies :P

…というのは置いておいて、6月のSWATのDTワークです。今月のお題は、LOに布を使うことでした。

娘の「ベストなベスト」です。義母が編んだものです。義母は編み物が好きで、たまにこうやって孫たちの物もつくります。

今回のLOにはエンベリをほとんど使いませんでした。PPを使うのが好きすぎて、いつもエンベリについて考えるのを忘れてしまいます（笑）

Bubbles

Hi there, well, sadly I could make only one layout in April. I've been busy, now I work as a planner for a smartphone app and my app will be released this month - I'm going to make an announcement on this blog when it's released, so stay tuned :)

My son loves to play with bubbles. I think bubbles are one of the best tool to take nice pics of children.

こんにちは。何と、4月は1つしかLOを作れませんでした。

仕事でスマホアプリの企画をやっていて、今月リリース予定なので、毎日忙しくしています。リリースされたらこちらのブログでもお知らせしますので、お楽しみに！

さて、今日はSWATのDTレイアウトです。

息子のシャボン玉で遊ぶ姿です。シャボン玉を使うと子供のいい写真が撮れるのですが、もう少し大きくなると自分でやりたがってみたり、やってみたら液をこぼしてみたりで大変なので、小さいうちだけでしょうか…？

Hi everyone, well I have no lies to tell you today :-P

My son and a cake for his birthday - a problem happened!
What do you think the problem was like? I wrote a journal about it (in Japanese).

The answer is:
He didn't like his cake!
I don't know why, but he won't eat his cake. So his dad made his face messy with cream, in order to take a "first-birthday-like photo".

By the way, 1 month after the day in these pics, he had a chance to eat some cake again, and he ate so much.

This month's twist is to use mesh, and here is the sketch:

今回のTwistはメッシュを使うことでした。

息子の１歳の誕生日の写真を使ったLOをつくりました。
ジャーナルにも書いたのですが、この時、思わぬ問題が…

なぜか、息子がケーキを食べたがらなかったのです。
それで夫が、せめて写真だけでもということで、クリームを顔のまわりにつけて、こんな捏造写真を（笑）

甘いものがニガテだなんてさすが男子！と思ったのですが、結局その１ヶ月後のクリスマスケーキはしっかり食べたので、ケーキが嫌いというわけではなさそうです。
